Security Officer - Commercial Patrol

As a Security Officer - Commercial Real Estate Patrol in Pittsburgh, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned commercial real estate locations, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, interact with tenants and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner at the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter potential issues, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity or potential security-related hazards to Allied Universal management and/or site representatives.
• Support the enforcement of property rules and regulations in accordance with site-specific guidelines.
• Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits to help to deter unauthorized entry.
• Complete detailed and accurate reports related to daily activities, incidents, and/or security-related matters as required by the site.
• Collaborate with property management and/or local law enforcement as directed, maintaining professionalism at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
