SUMMARY: The Patriot Place Security Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the Patriot Place Security account including scheduling staff, ensuring adequate coverage of all Site Security shifts, overseeing all security operations, accurate and timely processing of payroll, and invoicing for Gillette Stadium and Patriot Place Full time and Part time staff. This position reports to the Senior Director of Site Security.



DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  1. Serve as operational manager for Patriot Place Security operations and all security personnel assigned to Patriot Place site security shifts.
  2. Maintain strong relationships with external partners, such as law enforcement agencies and security vendors, to enhance security capabilities.
  3. Manage security staff including scheduling, staff coverage, payroll duties, and monitoring employee hours and timecards to ensure accuracy.
  4. Manage Site Security training program and ensure the timely completion of all required training.
  5. Produce accurate and timely invoices for all Patriot Place-related accounts.
  6. Ensure all Patriot Place shift reporting requirements (activity logs, reports, etc.) are completed to standards.
  7. Manage all aspects of the Site Security Uniform Program and ensure compliance.
  8. Communicate and act regarding any Patriot Place safety issues, operational issues, and incidents. Understand the emergency plan and actively assist in emergency situations.
  9. Manage all forensic surveillance video requests related to Patriot Place
  10. Manage assigned special events; ensure events are scheduled appropriately according to the approved staffing plan and budget for Patriot Place
  11. Develop and foster positive and productive relationships with Patriot Place management, public safety, external account clients, and Patriot Place tenants to fully understand business needs and work collectively to implement agreed upon results.
  12. Manage all aspects of the access control and alarm management system for Patriot Place and Revolutions Training Facility including maintaining and recording all keys and access cards issued.
  13. Partner with Human Resources on recruiting, performance management, and employee relations issues.
  14. Special projects and assignments as business dictates.
  15. Responsible for the maintenance, creation and control of all personally identifiable information or any other information protected by any Confidentiality or Privacy Standards or Company Policies that you have access or knowledge of, including but not limited to any state or federal regulations including HIPAA.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS



  • 4 to 6 years of experience in security management, public safety or the armed forces, with a strong understanding of security principles and practices
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • In-depth knowledge of security technologies, incident management software, and other security-related equipment, such as access control systems and CCTV surveillance.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and implement security policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse security team. Excellent communication and people skills to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Excellent writing skills for completion of reports, security projects, training curriculum
  • Robust understanding of the security operation and best practices
  • Effective computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, payroll software, etc.
  • Proficiency in security assessments, audits, and investigations at a large scale.
  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for identifying and mitigating security risks.
  • Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Ability to remain calm, work under pressure and de-escalate issues when appropriate



PHYSICAL DEMANDS



  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to be walking around the campus and stand for a period of 6 hours or more.
  • The employee frequently is required to talk or hear.
  • The employee is regularly required to reach with hands and arms.

WORK ENVIRONMENT



  • The Patriot Place Security Manager works at the Patriot Place Command Center and duties are both indoors and outdoors year-round.
  • This position requires nights and weekends.
  • The noise level in the work environment is usually loud on event days
