Location: Lafayette, LA

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 6 AM - 3:30 PM

Pay: $17 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand part requirements.
• Measure, cut, drill, and shape materials using saws, grinders, drill presses, and hand tools.
• Select appropriate materials and fabrication methods for each project.
• Assemble and fit parts accurately to meet design and quality standards.
• Inspect and test finished products for accuracy and quality assurance.
• Maintain fabrication tools and machinery in safe working condition.
• Follow all safety rules and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Work closely with other team members to meet production goals and resolve challenges.

Qualifications

• Previous construction/fabrication experience
• Computer skills
• Experience building pallets and shippers
• Able to lift 50 lbs.
• Steel-toes
