Summary:
The Lead Nuclear Medicine Technologist role is responsible for preparing and performing all nuclear diagnostic studies, and maintenance of the Nuclear Medicine lab while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and proficiency with appropriate clinical protocols. Manages daily workflow, monitors performance, coordinates daily operations, and provides training and mentoring.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology and/or Nuclear Medicine Technology program required.
  2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist required. Certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-N) or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) required. Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
  3. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in Nuclear Medicine required--3 years of practice or hospital experience in Nuclear Medicine preferred.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: N/A
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Basic IV skills.
