Purpose

The Senior Student Success Coordinator for Texas Executive Education's non-degree Health Informatics & Health Information Technology (HIHIT) program is a key relationship and experience manager -supporting every stage of the student journey and ensuring that each participant receives exceptional service and engagement throughout the program.This role combines admissions and program operations, student success, and stakeholder engagement in a fast-paced, learning environment. Working closely with the HIHIT staff and instructors, the coordinator will serve as the main point of contact for students.

Responsibilities

Sales, Enrollment Marketing, and Admissions: Nurture and support interested students identified through lead generation activities to drive enrollment growth. Work with agency on marketing efforts, including the development of communication and enrollment management plans to support the program. Manage admissions for assigned programs by following-up with prospective students via phone, text, and email, receiving and reviewing student applications, ensuring transcripts and resumes are received, including international transcripts that have been evaluated for US equivalence, scheduling interviews, participating in the interviewing process, scoring student applications and sending acceptance emails, among other related duties. Manage HIHIT Career Management accounts and all research, registration and payment approvals for career fair events; manage all communication with event coordinators. Research, attend and participate in enrollment and recruiting events, such as information sessions and on-campus events.

Student Success: Coordinate classroom management and support, provide support to HIHIT faculty and mentor individual students to successfully complete the program. Support professional development activities for each cohort including practice interviews, resume writing, time management, and values exercise. Support multiple events in the program including the in-person help sessions, tableau presentations, orientations, alumni panels and alumni reunions, etc. Coordinate with administrative associates on student payment plans. Create and monitor all HIHIT weekly surveys and escalate as needed.

Alumni and Employer Relationship Management: Assist in nurturing employer relationships, including inviting employers to career connection activities, encouraging them to expand engagement in the HIHIT program, and identifying opportunities to for McCombs to add more value to their engagement efforts. Manage all HIHIT alumni engagement, including the alumni mentoring program, events, speaking engagements and all communications. Manage alumni engagement to encourage further participation in career connection activities, mentoring, and hiring, including managing the HIHIT LinkedIn page and sending correspondence, as appropriate.

Third Party Program Assistance: Assist in monitoring edX boot camp weekly surveys and KPI results, escalating as needed. Identify opportunities for intervention to improve outcomes and enhance the student experience. Review edX teach backs and assist with financial reports. Manage the operations of ordering, creation and delivery of all edX boot camp certificates; Manage all student accommodations for edX boot camps with UT Austin Disability and Access.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree and five years of experience in program coordination, client relations, student affairs, or a related field.

  • Proven ability to deliver outstanding client or student service in a fast-paced environment.

  • Exceptional interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities with precision and attention to detail.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and solve problems creatively, while collaborating effectively with varied stakeholders.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiarity with learning management systems such as Canvas.

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., higher education administration, social work, business administration).

  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functional areas and contribute to a dynamic team environment.

  • Experience with software platforms for registration, surveys and communication (e.g., Constant Contact, Qualtrics, Salesforce, MailChimp, etc.)

  • Experience with University of Texas policies, procedures, and administrative systems related to job functions.

Salary Range

$55,000 - $60,000 + depending on qualifications

Working Conditions
  • Working in a standard office with repetitive use of a keyboard at a workstation.

  • Work schedule is generally Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm

  • This is an Austin, TX-based position.
