The Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons, Department of Neurology is seeking a full-time neurologist at the Assistant/Associate level in the Division of Neuro-Oncology. This position will support the clinical work in the division as well expand its research endeavors and contribute to the educational mission. The position includes inpatient/outpatient consultation and teaching residents, fellows and students. Candidates planning an independent research trajectory will ideally have extramural funding.

Minimum Requirement:



  • M.D. or D.O. or equivalent



Minimum Qualifications:



  • One or more years as a Neuro-Oncology post-doctoral fellow in a UCNS-accredited training program.
  • Must be board certified in neurology. Candidates should possess a demonstrated record as a clinician and should possess excellent patient care, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
  • Board eligible/certified in Neurology
  • UCNS certification eligible/certified in Neuro-Oncology
  • NYS, NJ, and CT medical license
  • Federal DEA, CT Controlled Substance Provider (CSP) Registration, NJ Controlled Dangerous Substances (CDS) registration
  • Able to meet New York Presbyterian Hospital-Medical Staff Office credentialing requirements
