This Position reports to:

Business Manager - Operations
Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to deploy and lead the continuous improvement strategy for a local organizational unit, including creating a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Each day, you will mentor and coach teams to achieve operational excellence and drive improved results. You will also showcase your expertise by leading programs and projects to improve and sustain local business performance.

The work model for the role is: {onsite}

This role is contributing to the {1200500001 SWG Quality Control} in {Xiamen}. Main stakeholders are {ELDS}.

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Identifying and working to remove roadblocks that prevent the successful implementation and adoption of continuous improvement initiatives and overseeing cases of conflicting priorities.
  • Promoting and leading improvement programs and projects within your own area of responsibility, with a hands-on (Gemba) and problem-solving approach.
  • Leading a systematic fact-based approach to identify and evaluate opportunities for future improvement within the local organization.
  • Providing guidance and supporting towards disseminating a continuous improvement mindset and culture at all levels, activities, and functions to promote behavioral change for continuous performance improvement at local level.
  • Enables performance management at local unit with target setting and follow-up processes based on clear Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)and quantified facts.

Qualifications for the role
Education Background
  • Bachelor or above in Electrical/Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, etc.
Working Experience
  • Continue improvement or other related fields.
Position Knowledge/Skills
  • Possess good communication and problem solving skills.
  • Communication/coordination skills cross function/departments

Personality

  • Strong Leadership capability. Ability to motive and develop people
  • Result-orientated and very responsible
  • Strong ability to solve conflicts.
