This Position reports to: Head - Product Management, Product Engineering & Application Development This role is contributing to the MODP Business Division in Peenya - Bangalore India Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory) Coordinate and manage certification applications, renewals, and audits. Review and verify certification documentation for accuracy and completeness. The certification may be BIS , CE etc Liaise with external certification agencies and internal teams to facilitate certification processes. Maintain and update certification records and databases. Provide guidance and support to candidates or product teams regarding certification requirements. Monitor compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies Prepare reports on certification status and compliance metrics Update the specifications requirement testing as per the regulation Testing discussion internally or 3rd party lab as needed Follow with supplier for the testing Documentation creation for the certification and update in the ABB portal Stay updated on relevant certification standards, industry trends, and regulatory changes. Qualifications for the role (Mandatory) Diploma/BE/Btech in electrical engineering or similar 2+ years of experience in the area of drives or electrical engineering Previous experience in certification coordination, compliance, or quality assurance roles. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple certification projects simultaneously Familiarity with industry-specific standards and certification processes.
