What You'll Work On
- Lead plan production for roadway design projects using MicroStation ORD and/or AutoCAD/Civil 3D and AutoTurn .
- Collaborate with INDOT, local agencies, consultants, and contractors on projects.Develop project budgets, schedules, and technical proposals.
- Apply engineering expertise and specialized software to solve complex transportation challenges.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality design services.
- Prepare quantities and construction cost estimates for bidding.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, PE license required. Ability to obtain multiple state licenses.
- 15+ years of experience in roadway design and project management, especially with INDOT and local agency projects.
- Proficient in INDOT Plan Submittal Package Development and Process.
- Prior experience with MicroStation/ORD and AutoCad Civil 3D
- Proficiency with Bentley Bridge Design products, Merlin Dash, Midas, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word.
- Familiarity with HEC-RAS, HY8, and StormCAD is a plus.
- Strong communication and computer skills.
- Desire to coordinate and collaborate with junior staff.
- Ability to travel to project and client sites as needed.
