General Job Summary

The Team Leader will be accountable for the shift's business unit results, daily management systems, and organizational health. They will oversee and enhance the performance of their area to support the overall plant's goals and journey map. This role involves managing the personnel, equipment, and processes to produce a product that meets consumer and customer preferences. The Team Leader will also focus on developing the skills and capabilities of their team members. Additionally, they will integrate new reliability tools into existing systems to drive continuous improvement and achieve outstanding results.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Ensure clear direction and priorities for the shift are aligned with the business unit.

  • Efficiently manage direct and indirect labor.

  • Track and address gaps in results versus work plan and budget for all KPIs, including safety and quality, to achieve team goals.

  • Develop Service leaders and other leadership roles.

  • Provide training, coaching, and facilitation.

  • Manage the Safety system within their area.

  • Coach and lead the team in executing daily management systems such as DDS, CL, RCFA, and Operational Standards documentation.

  • Improve and sustain assessment scores for DDS, CL, and 5S processes.

  • Ensure Operational Standards are executed with excellence.

  • Collaborate with Maintenance Lead, Engineering, and others to ensure follow-up on significant issues captured in RCFA.

  • Lead the shift team meeting and communicate team/shift results and needs to the business unit manager.

Job Complexity

The Team Leader will manage all people and equipment across the shift and be involved in all activities, including daily management, budgeting, strategic planning, TDC initiatives, enabler planning and execution, and the capital forecasting process. This role requires interfacing with multiple functions within the plant, as well as WHQ Engineering, Process Safety, Product Development, Reliability, and annual network teams.

Minimum Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.

  • 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Preferred Requirements

  • Associates or Bachelors Degree

  • 2+ years' experience in a food manufacturing environment.

Compensation and Benefits

The target base salary range for this full-time, salaried position is between $47,600 and $79,800. Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. Additionally, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k, and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment. Compensation and Benefits:

$59,400-$85,400

Individual base pay depends on work location and additional factors such as experience, job-related skills, and relevant education or training. Total pay may include other forms of compensation. In addition, we offer competitive health, dental, 401k and wellness benefits beginning on the first day of employment.
