Senior Human AI Experience Designer

As part of our awardwinning Design + Innovation team (earning 65+ international design awards every year), you'll lead a talented, diverse group of experience designers to push boundaries across Lenovo's Intelligent Devices Group (IDG). You'll collaborate closely with Design Research, Hardware Design, and CMF partners to build unified experiences that bridge physical devices and digital ecosystems-turning bold ideas into everyday simplicity for millions of users.

In this role, you will craft breakthrough HumanAI experiences within the ONE Lenovo Software Innovation Engine, designing intelligent interactions that streamline life, elevate productivity, and transform how people engage with AI across devices and platforms. You'll contribute to a worldclass design culture-and grow within it.

This position reports directly to the Executive Director of Design, ONE Lenovo Software Innovation Engine.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct desk research and be able to go both vertically and horizontally into the given opportunity area. Work with the internal Design User Research team to design based on research-led user pain points and insights.
• Lead ideation and concept-gen process independently and create disruptive, user-centric Human AI experiences with both internal and cross-functional teams.
• Develop experience framework that can be scalable and executable across products across different lines of business.
• Create experience prototype to demonstrate the desired design and experience; test/validate by partnering with the internal User Research team.
• Independently navigate, communicate and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders/cross-functional teams, to drive strategic design alignment, build trust and credibility.
• Proactively and effectively manage tasks and resources within budget and schedule.
• Enforce and leverage repeatable design process, design tools and documentation to be efficient and effective.
• Mentor, support, and inspire younger designers.

Basic Qualifications:

• 10+ years of relevant work experience in the consumer electronics industry or equivalent
• Proven record in working on systematic and ecosystem-level user experience
• Expert knowledge of UXUI design process, SW Agile dev process and SW product development experiences
• A strong portfolio showcasing your work and design skills is required for consideration
