Provide fire, safety, and security protection for Mercys coworkers, patients, and visitors. Promotes and practices fire and safety prevention. Performs all duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our Mission, Values, and Mercy Service Standards.
Position Details:
Minimum Required QualificationsEducation:- High School Diploma- 18 years of age or olderLicensure:- Valid State driver's license- Valid local, state or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required (within 90 days of hire)Certification/Registration:- Complete Basic 16hr Public Safety/Security course within 180 days of hire (May be done as part of licensure)
- Federal, State, and Municipal licensure allowable timeframes will have precedence over internally established timeframes for IAHSS certification.
Other Skills and Knowledge:- Ability to read and write the English languagePreferred QualificationsEducation:College degreeLicensure:Valid local, state or federal Public Safety/Security licensure as required.Experience:Previous Security, Military or Law Enforcement experience
