Blue Yonder Job Title: Sr Solutions Director, Product Development - Lighthouse

Synonymous Business Title: Computer and Information Systems Manager

Location: Hybrid role out of the Dallas office is ideal; Virtual on CDT or EDT may be considered

Occasional travel across North America required (approximately 15% - 50%)

Overview:Blue Yonder's Product Development - Lighthouse team is seeking a highly accomplished Sr Solutions Director to lead the strategic development and implementation of our complex, cutting-edge supply chain solutions. This pivotal role is responsible for setting and executing comprehensive solution strategies, providing strong leadership to cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful, high-value delivery of the Lighthouse program. The Director will be critical in driving business growth, ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction, and fostering innovation within Blue Yonder.

Scope:

The Sr Solutions Director will be responsible for defining and driving the overall solution lifecycle and successful customer adoption.

  • Develop and execute solution strategies that are tightly aligned with Blue Yonder's core business objectives and Lighthouse program goals.
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams across R&D, Consulting, and Professional Services, actively fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous innovation.
  • Oversee end-to-end solution delivery for Lighthouse customers, ensuring alignment with both client value realization targets and organizational goals.

Technical Environment:

Candidates should possess a strong foundational understanding of the modern cloud and supply chain technology stack.

  • Experience with leading cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Familiarity with cutting-edge technologies, including AI/ML, Internet of Things (IoT), and modern integration frameworks.
  • Proficiency in modern project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence) and a deep operational understanding of Agile methodologies.

What you'll do

  • Drive overall customer satisfaction and value realization for new product launches under the Lighthouse program.
  • Collaborate closely with implementation teams (Blue Yonder Professional Services or Partners) to ensure projects achieve high on-time delivery rates and strong customer referenceability.
  • Communicate detailed lessons learned back into the Research & Development (R&D) organization to continually improve product quality and enablement materials.
  • Assist in the timely resolution of customer escalations by engaging and aligning relevant Blue Yonder stakeholders.
  • Provide governance and strategic oversight for the high-priority Lighthouse program.
  • Lead the creation of high-value implementation assets (e.g., template project plans, effort estimators, rollout strategies, and guidelines) to accelerate customer value realization while simultaneously reducing the total cost of support.
  • Ensure that all Lighthouse projects rigorously adopt and utilize the standardized implementation assets created.

What we are looking for

  • Extensive Experience (15+ years) in the Supply Chain domain, demonstrating deep subject matter expertise.
  • Significant Experience (10+ years) leading and managing high-performing software consulting and software delivery teams.
  • Proven Leadership (3-5+ years) managing large-scale SaaS delivery programs.
  • Operational Fluency (3-5+ years) working within a fast-paced Agile environment.
  • Exceptional management skills with a demonstrated track record of leading a culturally diverse, geographically distributed team that includes a variety of skill sets and experience levels.
  • Deep passion and proven ability to deliver Customer Success, driving and motivating an organization to effectively solve customer problems and continually improve the customer experience.
  • Knowledge of Blue Yonder systems is a significant plus.
  • Experience in advanced Analytics is a plus.
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree required; an MBA is a strong asset.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), with the ability to communicate effectively with C-level executives, customers, leaders, and stakeholders, and to deliver compelling presentations.
  • Proven ability to develop strong working relationships in a global, matrixed environment, establishing a high level of credibility across functional business lines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the aptitude to mentor, coach, and train Blue Yonder Associates

Annual salary range for the position is USD $175,000 - $214,000

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors. In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
