About the role

The CDL Driver is responsible for transporting hazardous and nonhazardous waste between Reworld facilities and client sites. This role includes operating vacuum tankers, vacuum trucks, vans, dump equipment, and roll off equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Operate all assigned equipment safely and in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Drive commercial vehicles to pick up and transport waste while meeting scheduled appointments.
  • Ensure all vehicle placarding meets DOT requirements.
  • Maintain all required paperwork including expense reports, timesheets, vehicle inspection reports, manifests, and job sheets.
  • Inspect truck equipment and supplies including tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water.
  • Secure cargo prior to and during transit.
  • Operate roll off equipment as required by daily route needs.
  • Complete additional assigned duties.
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Must be 21 years or older due to interstate commercial travel regulations.
  • Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience.
  • CDL Class A with Tanker endorsement required.
  • HazMat endorsement highly preferred but not required.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Ability to use a tablet for ELogs.
  • Must abide by all DOT regulations at all times.
Physical Demands
  • Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb for extended periods.
  • Ability to reach, grip, push, pull, and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work in various weather conditions.
  • Ability to operate and maneuver roll off, tanker, vacuum, and other assigned equipment safely.
Shift Details
  • Schedule varies based on operational needs.
  • May include weekday and occasional weekend work depending on customer demand.
