TITLE: Customer Service Representative

LOCATION: Everetts, NC

POSITION REPORTS TO: Customer Service Manager/Branch Manager

SCHEDULE: Schedule TBD. Some overtime and some weekends may be required

COMPENSATION: Commensurate with experience and skills

RESPONSIBILITIES

* Deal Directly with customers either by telephone or email

* Perform general clerical duties to include but not limited to copying, faxing, mailing and filing

* Processing daily invoicing duties, communicating with internal and external customers

* Coordinate and communicate customer orders/questions/requests with operations and sales teams

* Handle and resolve customer complaints

* Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle product and service inquiries

* Provide pricing and delivery information

* Set-up new customers

* Process orders, forms, applications and requests

* Organize workflow to meet customer timeframes

* Maintain customer databases

* Communicate and coordinate with internal departments

* Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process

* Track, purchase & manage stock of office and kitchen supplies as needed

* Prepare correspondence and presentations

* Prepares and coordinate mail, faxes, and express packages.

* Manage other tasks (ongoing or project) as deemed necessary by management

* Work on special projects as needed

* Must be able to analyze situations for safety and practicability, and deal with problems involving few concrete variables in fairly standardized situations

* Must demonstrate a professional, courteous demeanor to both customers and coworkers and keep safety in mind at all times

* Other tasks as assigned by manager

BASIC REQUIREMENTS

* Must be able to pass background screening

* Locals only (must live within 60 miles)

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Ability to work in a deadline driven environment

* Dependable with a positive attitude

* Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team

* Excellent interpersonal & problem-solving skills

* Excellent phone etiquette

* Customer-focused & proficient relationship builder

* Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

* Ability to explore and learn other software applications

* Ability to prioritize and manage deadlines

* Accuracy and attention to detail

* Strong organizational skills
