Description

We are looking for our next great team member to join us on our Engineering/Maintenance team at the historic Marriott Syracuse Downtown hotel. We are committed to providing you with:

Here is what you will be doing each day:

Perform general maintenance work to ensure hotel maintenance quality standards are achieved and maintained, including but not limited to:



  • Assist with preventative maintenance and complete report work orders such as replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patching vinyl, etc., to maintain the hotel and keep the product quality standard.
  • Perform preventative maintenance assignments as assigned.
  • Respond in a courteous manner to all guest questions, complaints, and/or requests to ensure strong guest satisfaction.



Does this sound like you?

You're quite handy and some people may even call you MacGyver from time to time. You understand the 24/7 hotel workplace and have a lot of flexibility in your schedule, especially during evening hours and weekends. You have experience performing sheetrock repairs, minor plumbing, minor electrical work and painting. You have a self-starting personality with an even disposition, can maintain a professional appearance and manner at all times & can communicate well with guests.
