Job Description

Mercury Systems is seeking a motivated engineering intern to join our Peachtree Corners team. As an engineering intern, you will collaborate with senior engineers on the design and testing of RF components and integrated assemblies operating from 10 MHz to 40 GHz. You'll be part of a fast-paced, multidisciplinary team that delivers cutting-edge solutions to our customers while driving continuous improvement and pushing technical boundaries. The ideal candidate will take ownership of small design projects supporting our RF MMIC product line, gaining hands-on experience in advanced RF and digital hardware design.

Job Responsibilities:
* Design RF and digital hardware solutions using MMIC components
* Utilize CAD tools to design printed circuit boards and packaging for evaluation boards and modules
* Develop embedded software & firmware for digital control of RF components
* Conduct manual and automated performance tests to characterize RF semiconductor components
* Provide engineering support for existing products under the guidance of senior design engineers


Required Qualifications:
* Currently pursuing bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
* Experience with board-level, mixed signal design
* Familiarity with programmable digital logic devices (FPGAs, PLDs)
* Experience with printed circuit board design using CAD tools (Altium, Cadence)
* Ability to independently perform RF measurements using lab equipment such as Vector Network Analyzers, Spectrum Analyzers, and Signal Generators


Preferred Qualifications:
* Master's degree in electrical engineering preferred


* Strong knowledge of analog circuit fundamentals and design techniques
* Self-motivated and eager to apply learning into practice
* Eligibility to obtain DoD security clearance

Pay Grade Range
Fulltime Equivalent Job Grade Salary Range for this position: $17.00 - 38.00/hour
