Location:This position is a hybrid role based out of HQ Bowie, Maryland office. The current expectation is that we are in office two days each week (Tuesday-Wed), with extra additional days as required during the month.

Overview:
TheSenior Payer Account Manageris responsibleforoverseeing,managingand growingkey payer relationships. The Account Manager will plan, direct, or coordinate payer relationship-building and management tasks, as well as work with internal and external facing departments to coordinate all activities with payer and trading partner accounts with a special emphasis on driving revenue. The Senior Payer Account Manager is also responsible for coordinating tasks associated with new direct connections with payers and trading partners. Including,facilitatingtesting requirements, payer enrollmentconfigurationand payer production deployment

Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Managesinternal and external resources on behalf ofInovalonto meet payer needs and assure trading partner satisfaction;
  • Acts as escalation point for issue resolution;
  • Reviews operational records and reports to create monthly/quarterly/year-end reporting based on company standards.
  • Proactively reaches out to payer partners to better understand their needs and challenges;
  • Assist Sales with potential customers regarding service needs and advise as to current capabilities;
  • Represent company at Industry conferences and Workgroups;
  • Act as initial point of contact for payers and trading partners;
  • Increase Payer revenue;
  • Assist in building and maintaining in house documents, SOP's and training materials;
  • Maintain compliance with Inovalon's policies, procedures and mission statement;
  • Adhere to all confidentiality and HIPAA requirements as outlined within Inovalon's Operating Policies and Procedures in all ways and at all times with respect to any aspect of the data handled or services rendered in the undertaking of the position;
  • Fulfill those responsibilities and/or duties that may be reasonably provided by Inovalon for the purpose of achieving operational and financial success of the Company;
  • Uphold responsibilities relative to the separation of duties for applicable processes and procedures within your job function; and

Job Requirements:



  • Minimum of5years' experience managing healthcare payer relationships;
  • Proficient knowledge of EDI Transaction sets;
  • Proven track record understanding requirements, business issues, and knowledge of markets & solution segments;
  • Excellent critical thinking and logical reasoning abilities;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong presentation skills;
  • Understanding and managing expectations, ability to drive win-win solutions, building and maintaining Payer relationships;
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational/prioritization skills and ability to multi-task with close attention to detail;
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced and changing environment;
  • Ability to work with all levels of individuals as a team player or in leadership role; project leadership experience preferred;


Education:



  • Bachelor's degreeorequivalent work experience;


Physical Demandsand Work Environment:



  • Sedentary work,i.e.sitting forlong periodsof time;
  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force;
  • Frequently or constantly to lift, carry push, pull or otherwise move objects and repetitive motions;
  • Subject to inside environmental conditions; and
  • Travel for this position is expected to be approximately 25%.

Inovalon Offers a Competitive Salary and Benefits Package

In addition to the base compensation, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. At Inovalon, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.

Base Compensation Range
$76,800 $96,000 USD
