POSITION OVERVIEW: ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepares and post journal entries, account reconciliations, fixed asset processing, lease/contract review, accrual entries, and/or budget variance reviews Researches and analysis of assigned large elements of revenue and expense and the related internal reporting Ensure general ledger account balances are materially correct in compliance with internal controls and GAAP and that internal control risks are tested and documented in accordance with Sarbanes-Oxley Lead accounting initiatives/ projects including: process improvement, regulatory compliance/changes and policy Mentors less senior staff Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures Perform other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS:
