RFIC Characterization Engineer

About the Position

A technology organization focused on advanced RF and mmWave systems is looking for an RFIC Test Engineer to support development and validation of next-generation integrated circuits. The position involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary engineering teams and hands-on work with high-frequency test equipment and evaluation platforms.

Key Responsibilities

* Create, refine, and maintain RF test approaches for high-frequency ICs, particularly within mmWave and 5G-class architectures.
* Perform characterization and verification activities at both bench and system levels, including debugging and diagnosing RFIC performance issues.
* Contribute to the design, review, and improvement of evaluation boards, test fixtures, and associated hardware used for device testing.
* Partner with design, systems, and product teams to ensure accurate test coverage and smooth transitions throughout the development cycle.

Required Skills and Experience

* Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a closely related field, with extensive industry experience in RFIC testing and measurement.
* Strong proficiency using RF lab instruments such as VNAs, spectrum analyzers, vector signal sources, and signal analyzers.
* Deep familiarity with hands-on RF validation workflows for integrated circuits operating at mmWave frequencies.
* Ability to work onsite full-time and collaborate directly with hardware, RF, and systems engineering personnel.

Nice-to-Have Skills

* Experience with automated RF test setups or scripting for measurement automation.
* Background in beamforming architectures or phased-array RF systems.
* Prior involvement in developing evaluation hardware or test methods for early-stage silicon.

Estimated Min Rate: $55.00
Estimated Max Rate: $65.00
