Genesis10 is currently seeking a Java Developer with our client in the financial industry located in Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract position. Responsibilities: Responsible for onboarding and managing API integrations for and with third parties/FinTechs that provide alternate banking experiences to our customers Responsible for building an industry standard based API solution to facilitate customer requests to interact with data Ensure operational stability and scalability are critical factors in all aspects of work Responsible for leading development of UI components Provide the ability to interact with third party products and services to both provide and consume user-consented data sharing Requirements: Experience with application/website/content development Experience with highly available and scalable systems Experience with FOSS and commercial API gateway and service mesh offerings Familiarity with Splunk Familiarity with Java and Spring Framework Expertise in one or more programming languages Strong strategic thinker and the proven ability to execute Strong relationship management skills Experience delivering an enterprise service leveraging enterprise tools for a wide customer base Strong understanding of DevOps and automation best practices and hands-on experience with industry standard CI/CD tools Familiarity with web service standards and RESTful API best practices, including HTTP method/resource pairing, header use, pagination, and HATEOAS concepts Implement logging and analytics metrics along with corresponding notifications and alerts using industry standard tools Understanding and experience with OpenAPI and OAuth implementations Working knowledge/expertise of SQL Oracle/MSSQL, ability to perform CRUD tasks In partnership with Hosting and Dev partners, perform troubleshooting and resolution of production incidents Testing methodology, implementation, and industry standard tools Desired skills: Understanding of Open Financial Exchange (OFX), Durable Data API (DDA) and/or Financial Data Exchange (FDX) standards Pay range: $55.07 - $63.07 Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
