| Posting Summary |
As a Post-Doctoral Associate, your primary role will be to oversee research activities outlined in
NSF Grant 2520154 "Understanding Expectation-Driven Learning in Early Childhood: An Experimental and Computational Investigation," under the supervision of Dr. Kimele Persaud. Your duties and responsibilities will include designing, organizing, and conducting highly specialized and advanced experiments using established scientific protocols and procedures, summarizing findings and publishing results in peer-reviewed research journals, overseeing the day-to-day scientific operations of the laboratory, and providing supervision and mentorship to junior technicians, students, and researchers. This is a grant-funded appointment contingent upon the availability of funds to support it. Anticipated begin date is August 1, 2026. |

Qualifications
| Minimum Education and Experience |
Basic Qualifications
- Completed or near completion of a Ph.D. in Psychology, Cognitive Science, Developmental Science, Education, or related discipline
- Proficiency in programming (MATLAB, Python, R)
- Experience using advanced statistics
- Ability to build advanced experimental interfaces (using Matlab, Psychopy, JavaScript, etc.)
- Track record in publishing scientific articles
