Compensation Salary Range: $65.31 - $104.50 per hour The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range. This includes long term planning and supervision. This can include, but is not limited to establishment of budgets, prepares and maintains departmental records, long term planning, staffing levels, and directs Performance Improvement. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 5. Directs collection, analysis, and interpretation of statistics significant to program planning and budget preparation. 10. Medication Management: Responsible to maintain departmental participation in hospital-wide Medication Management per policy. Responsible to maintain participation in departmental policies of Topical Medications and their use in physical therapy treatments. Supervisory Responsibilities: The Director is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of all Rehabilitation therapy departments at CMH Ventura and CMH Ojai. The Director carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the Health System's policies and applicable laws. The responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. The Director of Rehabilitation Services has a primary office at CMH Ventura however 25% of time is allocated to CMH Ojai oversight with a minimum of four (4) hours of monthly on-site commitment. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy or Masters Degree in Speech
