MUST BE LOCATED WITHIN 50 MILES FROM PHOENIX, AZ Location: Fully Remote - Must be located within 50 miles of Phoenix, AZ Hours of Operation: Monday through Friday, 5am to 6:30pm - Will be scheduled an 8 hour shift (must be available anytime during this window) Description - Patient Service Representative * Schedule and register patient appointments and/or provide information for other requests (e.g., addresses/directions, phone numbers, hours of operations, other departments, such as billing, etc.). * Process all phone, fax, email, and other communication channel requests with an emphasis on efficiency and accuracy. * Update patients of the status of their referral or authorizations. * Communicates, to patients and internal and external ordering physicians' offices, complex exam preparations instructions including, but not limited to, pre-procedure laboratory test requirements and other necessary preparations instructions. Qualifications * Must have 1+ year experience in a healthcare call center * Patient scheduling and insurance verification experience * Experience with handling KPIs * Medical Terminology knowledge * Must have reliable transportation to pick up equipment onsite * Medical Assistant experience is a plus but not required Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, AZ.
