The Role:
The Director, Product Management - Modular, will lead, develop and implement a growth plan for Modular products in the United States, and align the business processes between customer service, planning and manufacturing improving our customer service levels. The incumbent will study, collect and provide the necessary market trend data to justify investments in areas of Modular conveyor belts that align with the consolidated portfolio of the Ammega Group. The position reports to the VP/GM of the Conveying Solutions business unit.
This position requires a highly resourceful and entrepreneurial professional who can identify and anticipate the business needs of customers and effectively respond to those needs.

You will be accountable for:
* Assessing the market to identify voids which can be developed into new growth markets for Ammega
* Overseeing and leading the development and management of Americas industry segment business plans while interfacing with the manufacturing and global industrial segment personnel
* Reviewing AMMEGA's product offering and identifies gaps which are inhibiting sales growth in target markets
* Overseeing the Modular Customer Service & Planning teams ensuring a single-piece workflow between the customer service and manufacturing processes
* Working with inventory management personnel to assure stock levels, product designs and accessory requirements are in place to support the OPCO sales initiative in the Americas and resolving any production or logistical bottlenecks that exist
* Providing insight to Operations to help achieve industry gains and costs reductions and reduce costs, add flexibility and accelerate market response
* Performing end-to-end margin analysis on products to direct Sales on the best products to sell
* Assisting in the tweaking and ongoing improvement of configurator development from order entry to plant floor for build instructions
* Working towards developing new plastic product extensions
* Affiliating with target industry associations with the goal of knowing where industries are heading on plastic and monolithic applications
* Assisting the VP/GM with developing directional strategies to grow this business segment within the Americas region
* Preparing detailed strategic plans and presents case studies based on facts with a focus on new business

To Be Successful, You'll Need:
* 8 plus; years of PROVEN experience in product management in a industrial sales environment, with a demonstrable track record of meeting/exceeding your goals
* An understanding of industrial machinery, and experience selling to customers using automated assembly or production lines or automated warehousing or distribution systems
* A proven or track record in the marketing of products to distributors, fabricators, OEMs etc.
* Experience selling to and working with systems integrators within the conveyor systems or belting industries would be a plus.
* A BS/BA degree with MBA preferred
* Proficiency with MS Office applications, business math, internet, and social media.
* The ability to innovate and work independently.
