As a Security Officer - Retail Roving Patrol Driver in Auburn, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed driving patrol officer at a retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle and foot patrols, stay visible to help to reduce security-related incidents, and respond to alarms and service calls. You will also support store teams and shoppers with customer-focused communication, reporting, and professionalism. Why Join Us: What You'll Do: - Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including addressing disturbances, suspected shoplifting activity, and customer disputes while following post orders.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the store, common areas, parking lots, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
- Perform access control as assigned, including monitoring entrances and exits, observing customer flow, and supporting store staff with security-related concerns.
- Monitor CCTV and alarm systems when available, and communicate observations to site leadership and/or dispatch per established protocols.
- Document observations, incidents, and actions taken in daily activity logs and incident reports, and assist with preserving information for follow-up as needed.
- Provide directions and general assistance to customers, associates, and vendors, and escalate concerns to management and/or emergency services when appropriate.
- Participate in opening and closing procedures as assigned, including perimeter checks and checking for unsecured doors, gates, and restricted areas.
Minimum Requirements: - - Have at least 1+ years of security experience.
- - Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- - Be 21+ years of age.
- - A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- - Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
