What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the financial services location, including the lobby, office areas, ATM areas, parking areas, and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Carry and maintain assigned firearm and other issued equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies and applicable laws and/or licensing requirements.
• Perform access control duties by monitoring entries and exits, verifying identification and/or authorization, and directing visitors to the appropriate areas.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems, and report suspicious activity and/or hazards according to site procedures.
• Complete detailed incident reports, shift logs, and other required documentation in a timely manner.
• Assist with opening and/or closing procedures as assigned, including checks of doors, gates, and controlled access points.
• Provide visible presence to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or disruptive behavior, and request assistance from law enforcement and/or emergency services when warranted.
• Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while interacting with employees, customers, visitors, and/or contractors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card/license.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma/GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
