As a Security Officer - Bank Patrol in Baton Rouge, LA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Why Join Us: What You'll Do: - Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the financial services location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe for unusual conditions, policy violations, and/or suspicious behavior, then take appropriate action consistent with post orders.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical events, disturbances, and/or alarm activations, and notify appropriate internal contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
- Complete detailed reports for incidents, hazards, and/or service requests, and maintain accurate shift activity logs.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures as assigned, including checking doors, gates, and critical areas for signs of tampering and/or unsecured conditions.
- Observe and monitor alarms, cameras, and/or other security-related systems when assigned, and communicate pertinent information to management and/or responding personnel.
- Provide guidance to visitors and staff regarding site rules, directions, and/or prohibited activities while maintaining a professional presence.
- Support business continuity by following emergency and evacuation procedures, participating in drills when assigned, and coordinating with site leadership as needed.
- Work in various environments and conditions depending on the assigned location, including indoor and outdoor patrol and standing and/or walking for extended periods.
Minimum Requirements: - - Be at least 21 years of age.
- - CPR certification is preferred.
- - A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- - Customer service experience is preferred.
- - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- - A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
