As a Security Officer - Logistics Mobile Patrol - Overnights in Brunswick, GA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter incidents, and support access control and badge activity. You will document and communicate security-related concerns with professionalism and strong customer service. What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting site leadership and/or emergency services as directed by post orders.
  • Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of warehouses, yards, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter fencing to help to deter unwanted activity and identify irregular conditions.
  • Control access to the property by verifying identification and/or credentials for employees, contractors, and visitors, and directing arrivals to the appropriate check-in process.
  • Monitor inbound and outbound traffic flow, including trucks and delivery vehicles, and document entries and exits according to site procedures.
  • Perform exterior checks of gates, doors, dock areas, and trailer rows for signs of damage, forced entry, or unsecured conditions, and report findings through the chain of command.
  • Operate surveillance and communications equipment such as CCTV, radios, and phones to support security-related operations and coordinate response as needed.
  • Complete routine reports, activity logs, and incident documentation with clear, accurate details, and submit them within required timeframes.
  • Provide visible presence at key points such as entrance gates, yard access points, and dock areas, and assist with de-escalation when interpersonal issues arise.
  • Support site emergency procedures such as alarms, evacuations, and shelter-in-place actions when directed, and help guide personnel to designated assembly or staging areas.
  • Conduct checks for policy compliance related to prohibited items, restricted areas, and posted site rules, and notify supervision when follow-up is needed.
  • Work collaboratively with Allied Universal leadership, site management, and local partners to address security-related concerns and maintain continuity of operations.

Minimum Requirements:

  • A TSA Issued TWIC is required.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • A Guard Card or license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
