What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
• Control access to the location by verifying identification, issuing visitor credentials, directing deliveries to designated areas, and documenting entries and exits per post orders.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and other security-related systems, and communicate observations and/or concerns to the appropriate contacts.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including initiating notifications, requesting assistance, and completing required documentation.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of production areas, warehouses, shipping and receiving docks, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or hazardous conditions.
• Perform outbound and inbound checks of gates, doors, and loading areas, and report maintenance issues such as damaged lighting, locks, and/or barriers.
• Support contractor and vendor controls by verifying work authorization, directing check-in procedures, and documenting jobsite access when required.
• Complete daily logs and incident reports, and provide clear hand-off communication to oncoming shifts.
• Assist with crowd and/or traffic flow during shift changes, deliveries, and special events as directed by site procedures.
• Follow Allied Universal post orders, communication protocols, and reporting requirements while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be 21+ years of age.
• CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Being comfortable using a computer and/or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
