As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a leading tech and telecom location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and maintain a visible presence that helps to reduce security-related incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to guests, employees, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the chain of command as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout offices, labs, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify identification and/or visitor authorization in accordance with site procedures.
• Control visitor entry by issuing visitor credentials, confirming appointments, and maintaining visitor and delivery logs.
• Monitor alarm panels, cameras, and other security-related systems when assigned, and report irregular conditions promptly.
• Perform routine checks of doors, gates, and restricted areas, reporting unsecured openings, damaged hardware, and/or unusual conditions.
• Assist with employee, contractor, and vendor check-in procedures and provide directions and customer service support.
• Document daily activities, incidents, and observations in written reports and/or electronic reporting systems.
• Support emergency and business continuity procedures such as evacuations, shelter-in-place, and medical response by coordinating notifications and guiding people as directed.
• Communicate professionally with site management, Allied Universal leadership, and local responders when needed.
• Follow post orders and perform additional security-related duties as assigned, with working environments and conditions that may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
