As a Security Officer - Municipal Complex Patrol in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and respond to calls for service with calm, clear communication. You will document observations, assist employees and visitors with directions and support, and escalate concerns as needed. Why Join Us: What You'll Do: - Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or members of the public by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at government transportation facilities.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, platforms, parking areas, and perimeter spaces to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor activity at entrances, public areas, and/or restricted areas, verifying access as required and directing individuals to appropriate locations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, requesting additional resources when needed and following post orders.
- Observe and report suspicious behavior, unattended property, hazards, and/or policy violations, documenting details in written reports and activity logs.
- Assist with crowd management and pedestrian flow during peak commute periods, service disruptions, and/or special events, providing clear directions and de-escalation support when needed.
- Support emergency and non-emergency response activities such as medical calls, fire alarms, and/or evacuations by following site procedures and coordinating with local public agencies as directed.
- Operate communications equipment such as radios and phones to relay accurate information to Allied Universal supervision, site contacts, and/or responders.
- Perform perimeter checks of doors, gates, and access points, reporting unsecured areas, damage, and/or maintenance issues through the appropriate channels.
- Maintain a professional presence, follow uniform and appearance standards, and complete required training and post assignments as directed.
Minimum Requirements: - - A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- - A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
