Why Join Us: What You'll Do: - Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology and telecommunications location.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, reporting observations and actions per post orders.
- Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout offices, corridors, stairwells, lobbies, and exterior perimeter areas, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
- Monitor access points and help to deter unauthorized entry by verifying credentials, directing visitors to sign-in procedures, and escalating access concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Perform routine checks of doors, gates, server and equipment areas, and other critical spaces for irregularities such as unsecured entrances, suspicious behavior, and/or policy violations.
- Observe and document activity using daily activity reports and incident reports, including details of patrols, alarms, maintenance issues, and interactions with staff and visitors.
- Assist with alarm and emergency notifications by communicating with site contacts and/or local responders as directed, and supporting orderly response actions.
- Support a professional workplace environment by providing directions, answering general questions, and maintaining a visible presence that helps to deter unwanted activity.
Minimum Requirements: - - Have 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree.
- - Have an active DoD Secret clearance.
- - Be 21+ years of age.
- - Customer service experience is preferred.
- - CPR certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
- - Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- - Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- - As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

- - Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
