POSITION SUMMARY:


The Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration, optimization, and support of the organization's LMS. This role ensures a seamless learning experience for users by managing course content, user access, reporting, and system functionality. You will also assist with project intake and management. The LMS Administrator will work closely with members of the Professional Education team and other AtriCure departments.



ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION:



  • Assist the Training and Education team to configure, maintain, and optimize the LMS to ensure system stability, useability, and performance
  • Manage user accounts, roles, permissions, enrollments, and access controls
  • Upload, organize, update, and maintain course content, assessments, and certifications
  • Manage system updates, enhancements, and integrations in coordination with IT, Quality, and vendors
  • Manage LMS data and reporting
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for LMS-related inquiries and troubleshooting
  • Partner with instructional designers and subject matter experts to ensure courses are properly configured and launched
  • Test courses and system functionality prior to release
  • Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency, learner experience, and reporting capabilities
  • Provide guidance and training to instructors, administrators, and learners on LMS functionality
  • Develop and maintain LMS documentation, job aids, FAQs, and user guides
  • Track CMR approval/expiration of all T&E materials
  • Assist with project intake management

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Bachelor's degree in instructional design, educational technology, information systems, or a similar degree
  • Must have 2+ years of experience administering a Learning Management System
  • Experience with common LMS platforms (e.g., Cornerstone, SuccessFactors, Workday Learning, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of LMS reporting, enrollments, and course management
  • Excellent organization and communication skills
  • Intellectually curious
  • Strong customer service and problem-solving ability
  • Willingness to travel up to 10%



PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Experience with Cornerstone Learning Management System
  • Experience working in the cardiovascular medical device industry
  • Experience instructional design and eLearning standards



OTHER REQUIREMENTS:



  • Ability to regularly walk, sit, or stand as needed
  • Ability to occasionally bend and push/pull as needed
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
