Security Officer - Automotive Yard Patrol

As a Security Officer - Automotive Yard Patrol in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at an automotive location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help reduce security-related incidents. You will respond to alarms, communicate clearly with staff and visitors, and deliver strong customer service while documenting activities and reporting concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors by following site-specific policies, access control procedures, and assigned post instructions for an automotive manufacturing and/or campus location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, parking areas, production support areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor alarms, cameras, and/or other site systems as assigned, and report unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance issues through the proper channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting emergency services when appropriate and assisting with evacuations and/or traffic direction as directed.
• Complete detailed shift logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation, and communicate relevant updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A minimum of 1 or more years of security experience is required.
• Loss Prevention experience is preferred.
• CPR Certification is preferred.
• Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
• Customer Service Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
