As an Access Control Officer, you will monitor entry points, verify badges, manage access permissions, and respond to security-related alerts from alarm and access systems. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver strong customer service and communication while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to site employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Control access at vehicle and pedestrian entry points by checking identification, verifying authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining required entry and exit logs.
• Screen inbound and outbound deliveries and shipments by confirming appointment details, checking driver documentation, and coordinating with site contacts for dock and yard access.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including documenting events and notifying appropriate site and/or Allied Universal contacts.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, staging areas, and perimeter routes to help to deter unauthorized access and identify irregular conditions for reporting.

Minimum Requirements:

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
