Security Officer - Full Time

As a Security Officer - Full-Time Mall Patrol in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a busy retail location, you will conduct routine foot patrols, stay highly visible, and help to deter security-related incidents through strong presence and clear communication. You will assist customers and staff, report concerns, and support store operations with professionalism and teamwork. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients and guests in a retail location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of sales floors, back-of-house areas, loading docks, parking lots, and the property perimeter, noting unusual conditions and reporting concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including customer disputes, disorderly conduct, medical situations, and/or fire and alarm events.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and high-traffic areas to help to deter theft, trespassing, and policy violations, and complete required reports and notifications.
• Work with store management and local public services as needed, maintain a professional presence, and assist with access control and customer direction during peak business hours.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
