Description Position Title: Fabrication Machine Programmer Reporting to: Engineering Manager Department: Manufacturing Central Power Systems & Services is a privately held company with deep roots going back to 1954. We are looking for a Machinist/Programmer to help support that mission. JOB SUMMARY This manufacturing position is focused on our Generator Manufacturing Division. We are seeking a detail-oriented Fabrication Machine Programmer to join our team. Fabrication Machine Programmers are responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs used in the fabrication of our steel, copper, and polypropylene components. This role ensures that production equipment-such as laser cutters, press brakes, punch/shears, waterjets, and other automated machinery-operates efficiently, safely, and with exceptional accuracy. The programmer collaborates closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to translate design specifications into highquality finished parts. RESPONSIBILITIES

Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent required * Experience in manufacturing setting, machinist and/or programmer experience preferred * Ability to adhere to safety rules and guidelines established by Central Power and its customers * Experience with OSHA compliance and other applicable standards * Strong analytical and organizational skills * Ability to maintain positive relationships with both employees and customers * Ability to act on the instructions from a supervisor and work well alone or as members of a team * Ability to adapt performance based on feedback provided from peers, crew leaders, and management. * Ability to overcome obstacles utilizing problem solving skills. * Ability to work overtime as job needs dictate WORK CONDITIONS Physical Demands/Work Environment: This position regularly requires walking, standing, sitting, stooping, bending, kneeling and climbing stairs. It also often requires pushing, pulling, twisting, lifting 50+ lbs. and working in a variety of weather conditions and noise levels.
