Job Description:
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Preparation and Setup:
a. Review and understand orientation materials, presentations, and schedules ahead of time.
b. Ensure the training area is organized, clean, and equipped with necessary tools, materials, and audiovisual equipment.
c. Prepare and distribute orientation packets, manuals, or other documentation for participants.
2. Welcoming Participants:
a. Greet new hires upon arrival and facilitate introductions to create a welcoming environment.
b. Verify attendance and maintain a record of participants.
c. Coordinate with security to request building access badges.
3. Delivering Orientation Content:
a. Present company policies, procedures, and expectations, including safety protocols and quality standards.
b. Administer required computer-based training (CBT) modules and track completion.
c. Provide a demonstration of company software programs or systems used for timekeeping, viewing work instructions, or tracking assignments.
d. Assist participants with logging into the system and navigating its features to ensure they can use it independently.
4. Facilitating Engagement:
a. Encourage active participation by answering questions and facilitating discussions.
b. Monitor participants' progress to ensure they understand the material and are comfortable with the tasks.
5. Ensuring Compliance:
a. Ensure participants adhere to company policies, safety protocols, and code of conduct throughout the orientation.
6. Addressing Issues and Concerns:
a. Address any questions or concerns raised by participants during the orientation.
b. Escalate issues to supervisors or HR if necessary.
7. Documenting and Reporting:
a. Record attendance, assessment results, and any notable observations about participants' performance and report to management.
b. Provide information about the orientation session to relevant stakeholders as needed.
8. Administrative and Other Duties:
a. Provide administrative support to hiring team on interview days.
b. Assist with other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
* Must be U.S. Person.
* Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and basic computer navigation.
* Must possess strong organizational and communication skills.
* Minimum education requirement is HS Diploma/equivalent.
* 1-2 years of relevant experience as an onboarding/training coordinator or similar strongly preferred.
* No travel is anticipated.
