Job Description

Job Summary: This position will support the Commercial & Industrial (C&I) Lending team at Needham Bank. The C&I Lending Intern will be involved with the commercial lending process in executing the Bank's strategic vision. They will work closely with Relationship Managers, commercial credit analysts and commercial loan administrators to develop and maintain C&I loan portfolio.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Prepare preliminary analysis, typically financial statement spreads and cash flow calculation, of commercial borrowers
  • Provide analytical support to Credit Analysts and Relationship Manager as needed
  • Attend and participate in meetings with customer and Relationship Manager as needed
  • Complete due diligence on both prospects and borrowers using the Bank's systems and related tools
  • Assist and provide direct support to various portfolio management and division wide projections as directed by C&I Leadership.
  • Assist in underwriting prospective clients and existing borrowers as directed
  • Assist in the management of the dedicated portfolio and help with reporting and analytics as directed
  • Perform additional duties as requested, needed or assigned

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE



  • Pursuit of Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related field
  • Entry level knowledge of business environment
  • Interest in Banking preferred



PAY RANGE: $20.00/hourly
