Third Shift - Manchester (United States of America)

Work Shift Time:

10:45 PM - 6:45 AM

Job Objective: To provide utility support to HTH operators. Working in a safe and efficient manner.

This is a Temp to Hire position.

Essential Job Functions:

Commitment to Safety

  • Demonstrates a strong commitment to maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.

  • Promotes a culture of safety within the organization by leading by example and encouraging others to prioritize safety.

  • Promptly reports any safety incidents or near-misses to the appropriate personnel and contributes to the investigation process.

  • Active participation in safety-related programs and initiatives is required as necessary. This includes involvement in the safety committee on a rotating schedule, as well as participation in Risk Assessments, Exposure Hunts, department inspections, and change management activities.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized department; Assist in Removing trash and clutter from the CFM Lines

  • Sweep designated areas as assigned.

  • Keep the Resin/ Mezzanine area neat and free of clutter.

  • Assist in the wrapping and moving of pallets;

  • Complete barcoding and distribution documents including making paper labels.

  • Ability to be trained to safely Operate a powered pallet jack and a Fork Lift.

  • Perform basic data entry for quality control, Activplant, Oracle, 6S & cleaning sheets.

  • Comply with standard operating procedures, control plans, safety, and environmental procedures.

  • Comply with Quality Standard ISO/TS 16949, and Environmental Standard ISO 14001.

  • And comply with BRC/IOP certification standards

  • Monitor and insure quality of work in process, semi-finished, and finished products in accordance with control plan specifications.

  • Participate in 6S initiatives pertaining to departmental cleanliness, organization, and safety.

  • Interface and cooperate with other departments, to include cross training, and secondary job certification.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to work within a team, and complete multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Ability to read, comprehend, follow, and recommend improvements to working instructions and procedures.

  • Basic computer literacy.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to self pace learning including book, web-base and classroom participation.

Desired:

  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible in assigned tasks and duties.

  • Demonstrated ability to organize, prioritize, and manage time effectively.

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
