Position Summary

Field Planner/Scheduler

NOTE: Duration of assignment approx. 3-6 months.

Located in Proctor, WV

Field Planner/Scheduler tasked with the comprehensive management of project timelines, resource allocation, and scheduling sequence of critical milestones and project deliverables-directly working with construction manager. They must analyze and foresee potential obstacles and devise proactive strategies to mitigate risks and delays

Proactive member of project teams and will aid Project Manager, Project Engineer, Technology Supervisor, Site Engineers, Commissioning Engineers and other teams in planning, aligning and scheduling their respective work scopes and budgets to obtain higher visibility of project progress, and schedules at all times.


Responsibilities

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met.

Resolve all field coordination issues immediately and work until complete.

Monitoring project progress and adjusting as necessary to ensure successful completion on schedule and within budget.

Providing regular updates to stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress.

Track projects milestones and delays it a daily tracker.

Assist the construction contractors and other project team members during field execution.

Ensures all construction contractors are executing the project in accordance with all safety rules and expectations of the contractor and owner.

Assist in the development of construction schedules.

Responsible for confirming and reporting status of all work assigned daily.


Qualifications

Minimum two (2-5) years of experience in a refinery/chemical production facility in an operation, maintenance, or equivalent role.

Experience Conducting detailed analysis to anticipate and mitigate potential delays and cost overruns.

Self-starter, ability to plan/organize tasks and consistently produce results with minimal supervision.

Experience Facilitating team meetings and coordination efforts to ensure coherence and adherence to the project's strategic direction.

Interpersonal skills to effectively lead, influence, and work across organizational boundaries, including maintenance, operations, capital, and contractors.

Evaluating the project's success post-completion to identify lessons learned and areas of improvement for future projects.

Ensuring compliance with industry-specific regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.

Good computer skills. Able to communicate effectively through email, Microsoft programs (Outlook/ Excel).

Ability to learn and excel with new activities.

Excellent and respectful communication skills.
