Job Description

Pay Range: $72,500 to $90,625 per year



    • Responsible for processing/production/distribution and for meeting department and company goals and standards on quality, yield, productivity cost and safety.
    • Responsible for the development and training of line supervisors and employees, working within company policies.
    • Responsible for quick and timely feedback to production management on all exceptions in regards to productivity, downtime, quality, yield, cost and safety.
    • Responsible for monitoring standards and indexes needed to control area of responsibility.
    • Administer to ensure that safety orientations and safety meetings are held as required to keep frequency and severity to a minimum.
    • Participates at department meetings in the planning processes and to testing and development of techniques/processes and new products.



    Qualifications



    • Must have a B.S./B.A. in Business Management (or related field) and/or equivalent work experience.
    • Must have 5-10 years with increasingly responsible management experience in the food processing industry, preferably in the food manufacturing industry; poultry processing preferred.
    • Must demonstrate ability to communicate well verbally and in writing.
    • Must exhibit good interpersonal and leadership skills.
    • Must have strong statistical aptitude and mathematical background to perform calculations on yield, productivity, team member timekeeping , reports, etc.
    • Must be able to evaluate supervisors fairly and objectively.
    • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Operational programs.
    • Must be able to work well independently, exhibit strong internal drive to succeed.
    • Must be able to work varying shifts and have regular attendance.
    • Must be able to stand on the production floor for varying amount of times with or without accommodations.
    • Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check.
