Job Summary:

Join our welcoming primary care team in Faribault, a vibrant, growing community just 50 miles south of the Twin Cities. The Family Medicine Physician provides engaging, relationship centered care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary clinic setting, serving patients from a diverse and dynamic rural meets urban community.

Key Position Details:

  • Primary care team has 3 Family Medicine Physicians and 3 APPs

  • Primary Care physicians at this clinic are close knit and drawn to collaborative work

  • 36 patient contact hours per week

  • Flexible FTE

  • Minimal call coverage, phone only, RN triage support

  • Outpatient practice providing care to all ages, including growing families

  • Clinic hours are Monday- Friday: 7:00am-5:00pm and closed Saturday-Sunday

  • EMR: Excellian is one of the most comprehensive electronic health record (EHR) systems in the nation.

The clinic offers convenient access to a wide range of services-including primary care, women's health, orthopedics, cancer care, rehabilitation, and diagnostic imaging-supported by a collaborative, multispecialty team. With strong ties to Abbott Northwestern specialists and a warm community environment, the clinic provides comprehensive, coordinated care for patients across the region.

Job Description:

  • Works collaboratively with patients to improve their health and well-being.
  • Practices in a thoughtful manner including consideration for cultural diversity, individual autonomy and legal responsibilities.

  • Actively participates in multidisciplinary team approach to case management.

  • Utilizes quality improvement tools to develop processes that promote continuous improvement in delivery of patient care, patient outcomes, or workflows.

  • May participate in peer review and quality assurance.

Job Requirements

  • MD, DO, or foreign equivalency training required

  • BE/BC with ABMS or AOA required

  • Active, non-restricted medical license in MN (or ability to obtain)

  • Ability to obtain and/or maintain MN DEA certification and National Provider Identifier (NPI)

  • Ability to meet criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and hospital privileges, if applicable

  • BLS/ACLS required within 180 days of hire

Pay Range

Pay Range: $279,825 to $329,175 per year The pay described reflects the starting base pay range, assuming a full-time FTE. Your starting rate will depend on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, your experience, education, and the union agreement (if applicable).
