Under technical direction, theVoucher Examinerwill support payroll operations, payment processing and voucher examination, Intra-Governmental Payment and Collection (IPAC) transactions, and audit management and follow-up activities. Personnel perform moderately complex financial management functions requiring independent judgment, technical proficiency, and adherence to federal laws, regulations, and Agency policies. The role operates in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment and performs non-inherently governmental functions under established procedures.This is a remote, full-time role.



  • Examine commercial invoices and IPAC transactions for legality, accuracy, and compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Input and track vouchers in the Phoenix accounting system.
  • Apply Prompt Payment Act provisions and track interestpenalties.
  • Reconcile vendor files and subsidiary ledgers to the general ledger.
  • Monitor, analyze, and record IPAC charges and credits.
  • Position requires US citizenship and ability to successfully pass a government background investigation.
  • Must be able to support/work core hours of 1000-1500 Washington DC time regardless of remote location.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Auditing (or substituted 5 years' experience).
  • Experience: 4 years of experience in government payments, reconciliation, and payroll activities (or equivalent substituted experience).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with the ability to work effectively in a virtual team environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite to include Teams or similar workplace chat and videoconferencing tools.
