Vi at Highlands Ranch is located at 2850 Classic Drive, Highlands Ranch CO 80126 Responsibilities Responsible for the development, implementation and evaluation of health and wellness
initiatives aimed at maintaining the health status of the community and promoting a healthy lifestyle. Additionally, the Wellness Center Manager develops a business and program plan, along with supporting budget and a method for program tracking and reporting. Performs other duties as assigned. This is a safety sensitive position. Principal Accountabilities / Essential Job Functions:
* Facilitates residents' ability to receive on-site health care and to utilize health care resources that promote health maintenance. * Responsible for oversight of the wellness center staff where applicable, which includes hiring, training and development, counseling, performance evaluation, functional development and disciplinary action. * Assesses and develops appropriate health and wellness programs to address identified risks. * Collaboratively develops strategic and tactical health management operating plans with Resident Services and the Executive Director; where applicable, with Home Care or Lifestyle. * Chooses appropriate risk reduction, disease management, and self-care interventions for residents and the community. * Creates a culture and environment that is supportive of whole-person wellness services and opportunities. * Evaluates results of interventions using both process and outcome measures. * Serves in an advisory capacity for medication issues for residents. * Designs communications content and delivery strategies that promote wellness programs and themes. * Responsible for the clinical record of each resident receiving care in the Wellness Center; documents in clinical record per documentation policies and standards. Qualifications Education: Graduation from a Vocational School of Nursing for Licensed Vocational
Nurses is required. * Work Experience: 5 years of progressive experience in management role with 1-3 years of experience in wellness, health promotion or health management field; previous work with the geriatric population is preferred. * Licensure / Certification, where required: Current State Licensure in the state where practicing is required. Current CPR and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certifications are required. Current First Aid certification is required or must be willing and able to become First Aid certified.
