We're looking for someone like you to help propel business analytics and processes forward, as well as delve into technology trends to deliver user-friendly client experiences.

This Business Analyst, Mid will advise and partner with clients to provide domain expertise, stakeholder relationships, and advanced capability knowledge. Identify stakeholders' business and system requirements as well as translate and decompose those needs into actionable software requirements, test criteria, and scenarios. Manage business requirements and clarify intended functional behavior of software for stakeholders. A Business Analyst, Mid is a servant leader that can provide support to the Feature Team and the Release Train Engineers, and understands the value streams and alignment of investment themes to business values.

You Have:

  • 2+ years of experience authoring requirements such as epics and user stories while adhering to best practices
  • 1+ years of experience working on a team of developers and quality assurance analysts in order to support the creation of robust and thorough test cases and identify gaps
  • Experience communicating business needs to technical teams, facilitating requirements sessions, and implementing mediation and conflict resolution techniques to drive stakeholders to common understanding and agreement
  • Experience identifying and escalating potential requirements gaps to senior project and customer leadership
  • Experiencing conducting software demonstrations to internal and external project stakeholders, and working as an integrated part of a cross-functional team, such as working directly with software developers, UI/UX, and quality assurance team members
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile, Scrum, and SAFe
  • Ability to translate business requirements into a functional development backlog and effectively act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technical development teams, ensuring alignment of work delivery to the overall product strategy and customer value
  • Ability to abstract, synthesize and communicate complex requirements and adapt communication approach and style depending on the audience
  • Public Trust
  • HS diploma or GED

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with Salesforce preferred
  • Experience with Agile Ceremonies to provide the stakeholder's perspective on requirements to be implemented by the development team
  • Ability to prioritize which requirements to include in a specific software release by identifying relationships and dependencies between requirements and estimation of technical effort

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,300.00 to $126,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
