REPORTS TO: Screen Printing Production Manager

HOURS: Monday-Friday; 6am-3:30pm

FLSA STATUS: Exempt

As a screen printing production supervisor, you'll be responsible for the supervision and production of associates engaged in screen printing department.

Qualified candidates for this role are currently leading by example by demonstrating positivity, good attendance, good performance, and the other guiding principles reflected on the 4imprint compass. Someone who enjoys the more hands-on style of leadership and working alongside their team. As an exempt employee, paid on a salary basis, 4imprint expects that you meet the demands of your role.

Here's what a typical day might look like. (These are the essential functions of the job.) Other duties may be assigned.

  • Demonstrate the eight core principles that guide every 4imprint teammate on a daily basis: Honesty, Curiosity, Collaboration, Flexibility, Accountability, Empathy, Positive Attitude, Humility.
  • Provide energetic and supportive leadership to develop, coach, and mentor team members to meet their goals and objectives.
  • Take ownership of the screen printing department and is accountable to ensure the department goals are met and customer needs are satisfied.
  • Provide ongoing suggestions from review feedback regarding workflow, productivity and team member engagement.
  • Oversee training of new team members to ensure they are properly prepared for their new role and provide development of existing team members.
  • Host regular team and one on one meetings to review goals, company updates, training opportunities and events.
  • Review turnover, retention and promotion data for the team comparing to company and external benchmarks.
  • Address performance and behavioral concerns on the team working with human resources where appropriate.
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the screen printing press operator role.
  • Help out in other areas when needed and when time allows.
  • Participate in training classes and actively seek professional development.
  • Maintain a current understanding of trends and updates in your role.
  • Ensure confidentiality at all times.

  • Someone who can communicate effectively in individual and team meetings effectively facilitating these conversations and following up on action points.
  • Proficient at both providing and receiving feedback, coaching and leading teammates with tact and professionalism particularly when handling difficult conversations and situations.
  • Comfortable making decisions and taking ownership of projects seeing them through to the end.
  • A multi-tasker who takes the initiative to solve problems while remaining patient and cool under pressure.
  • Organized and focused on the details that matter, able to prioritize tasks and projects effectively to tie in with company initiatives and goals in a rapidly changing, fast paced and detail oriented environment.
  • Able to identify and implement opportunities to develop team members and improve processes on the team that result in additional sales, improved efficiencies, increased associate engagement or a reduction in cost.
  • Someone who tracks and reviews results against goals to identify continuous improvement opportunities and communicate progress towards meeting them.
  • Someone who plans, establishes, and communicates work schedules, assignments, and expectations to team members.
  • Experienced with supervising others in a production environment.
  • Flexible and possess a sense of urgency while effectively managing multiple tasks in a rapidly changing, fast paced and detailed orientated environment.

Required education/skills/experience:

  • Associate's degree in related field.
  • Applicants with equivalent, relevant experience will also be considered.
  • 2-5 years of experience in a similar field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a lead or supervisory role.
  • Proficiency in data entry, MS Word, Excel, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Proven track record of effectively onboarding new team members and continued development of existing team members.
  • Proven effective interpersonal skills (team and individual) in written and verbal communications.
  • Critical thinking skills - logical thought process and ability to reason.
  • Demonstrated management skills.
