At NAVEX, we're making the world a better place. A safer place. A more ethical place. A place where anyone, anywhere can have a voice. That's a serious impact.

At NAVEX, data is at the forefront of our decision making, with our analytics teams being crucial to understanding our business, our customers and our performance. To accelerate cross-departmental projects, we are looking for an experienced Business Intelligence Developer to join our centralized Business Intelligence team, responsible for maintaining the technology and infrastructure our teams rely on.

As a Senior Business Intelligence Developer you will work with departments across NAVEX, using your experience to build engaging, robust, and scalable reporting and data tools to help inform our business. Your knowledge and expertise will help tackle our most impactful analytics projects while growing the talent of other analysts and developers.

At NAVEX, you will work in a hybrid role and thrive alongside an engaged and collaborative team invested in supporting your success!

What you'll get:

  • Meaningful Purpose. Your work helps organizations operate with integrity and protect their people-at a scale few companies can match.
  • High-Performance Environment. We move with urgency, set ambitious goals, and expect excellence. You'll be trusted with real ownership and supported to do the best work of your career.
  • Candid, Supportive Culture. We communicate openly, challenge ideas-not people-and value teammates who embrace bold thinking and continuous improvement.
  • Growth That Matters. You can count on authentic feedback, strong accountability, and leaders invested in your success so you can achieve real growth.
  • Rewards for Results. We provide clear, competitive compensation designed to recognize measurable outcomes and real impact.

What you'll do:

  • Build and manage our suite of dashboards and reporting in Power BI, ensuring the highest levels of quality and consistency though testing and QA
  • Utilize the deep functionality set of Power BI to develop tools allowing end users to query and understand their business through data
  • Develop and improve our Semantic Models and "Golden Datasets"
  • Create concise and performant measures to meet complex business reporting requirements
  • Leverage previous experience and best practice to recommend improvements to infrastructure and process
  • Assist our departmental data analytics teams with complex reporting and use cases
  • Provide guidance on best analytical practices for querying, visualization and data story telling
  • Build automated systems to streamline existing analytics deliverables and reduce maintenance overhead
  • Grow our analytics talent by sharing your knowledge and experience with other analysts and developers

What you'll bring:

  • A bachelor's degree in a technical field such as Computer Science or Mathematics, or equivalent work-related experience
  • 8+ years' experience working in a data analytics or business intelligence role, with a heavy focus on Power BI
  • Strong business experience, preferably in B2B SaaS, with an ability to work well in team environments (both in person and remote).
  • Experience building Power BI reporting and semantic models on data from CRMs (Salesforce), data warehouses (Snowflake), and Marketing automation tools
  • Deep understanding of Power Query (M), DAX, SQL, and GitHub
  • Experience building data partitioning and row level security into Power BI semantic models
  • Demonstrable excellence at report UX and usability with an eye on creating tools, not simply reports
  • Experience managing cross-departmental, end to end reporting projects, with strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • An ability to identify and influence others on the best practices and solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to provide value-added analysis on GTM data points and distilling data into actionable insight to non-technical colleagues a bonus
  • Experience integrating AI components into reporting is preferred
  • Natural curiosity with strong attention to detail
  • Culture Agility. Comfort working in a fast-paced, candid environment that values innovation, healthy debate, and follow-through
  • AI Readiness. Curiosity and willingness to use AI and emerging technologies to elevate your work and deliver smarter outcomes
  • Ability to drive results through your job competencies while leveraging NAVEX's core values

Our side of the deal:

  • We'll be clear, we'll move fast, and we'll invest in your success. You deserve to be supported, challenged, and rewarded for the impact you make-and we commit to doing that every step of the way.
  • The starting pay range for this role is $125,000+ with a 5% MBO. Discover how you can grow, lead, and make an impact by visiting our career page to learn more.
