Role and Responsibilities

In this position, you support our customers by maintaining and optimizing DUV systems. You are part of a team that values teamwork, learning, and continuous improvement. As a Field Service Engineer - DUV, you will:

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot DUV lithography equipment on customer sites
  • Collaborate with colleagues and customers to resolve technical issues efficiently
  • Document service activities and provide feedback to improve our systems
  • Ensure all tasks follow safety and quality standards
  • Train customers on the proper use and basic maintenance of DUV systems
  • Communicate clearly with team members and customers about service plans and results
  • Participate in continuous learning to stay updated on new technologies and processes
  • Train more junior engineers
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Mechatronics, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in field service, maintenance, or equipment support (semiconductor industry preferred)
  • Familiarity with diagnostic tools, technical drawings, and measurement instruments

Other information
  • Position could require up to 25% travel, and the willingness to work extended hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Role within Office

Responsibilities:

  • Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.

  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.

  • May require travel dependent on business needs.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. * 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
